Inner courtyard covering: Amerang Castle

The inner court of Amerang Castle is the larges irregular Renaissance arcade yard north of the alps and is considered as one of the most important examples of Renaissance architecture.

The fabric is made of translucent PTFE (coated glass fiber fabric) and is moved on 5 axles with a winch, hydraulic cylinders provide the necessary pre-loading in the final position.

Amerang Castle was mentioned 1072 for the first time and today it is owned by Baron Ortholf von Crailsheim and Baroness Giulia von Crailsheim-Larisch.
